I really didn’t expect the winner to be the car that won but I’m glad it was. Bring on the drag race even though it is painfully obvious which car will win that.

This only made me want a GT350 even more. C&D also gave it some glowing words in its recent Lighting Lap competition. It’s pretty funny, I’ve never been into Mustangs before, but this one’s got me on the hook. It’s engine is pretty similar in character to the S65 in my M3, and the design of this generation is just fantastic. Hope they end up being reliable cars - I’m a little worried that the flat-plane crank is going to shake all of these to pieces before long.

The S550 does that. I never liked Mustangs much, now I own one.
Dat McLaren though...the MP4-12C/650S/570S have been my dream car basically since 2013 and this just affirms it. I need one.

I’m really looking forward to the design changes upcoming (losing the headlight design for something more attractive). The Apple rumors are insane! If there’s any truth to it, I sure hope they don’t completely wreck what MacLaren’s got going now.
Do have to wonder if it’d be top of the heap if a 488 GTB was included.
As much as I’d love to own a supercar one day, the likelihood of that is so tiny, I prefer to dream about cars that there’s some reasonable chance I could own them one day.

Realistically, even if I had $1MM in liquid assets, it’s not likely that I’d spend over $100k for a car. Just seems like diminishing returns at some point, and in almost every case, you’re talking about a depreciating asset. If things go really well for me over the next couple decades, maybe I’ll change my mind, but it’s hard to see at this point.
